USODA Seeking Candidates for USNT Performance Director
The USNT Committee is seeking applications for a Performance Director for the 2023-2024 year. The USNT Performance Director is responsible for the overall professional leadership of the USNT. Responsibilities include:
- Creating an annual practice schedule and agendas for individual trainings
- Selecting coaching staff for individual trainings
- Ensuring that USNT standards are developed, maintained and approved, and communicated to key constituents
- Implementing communication processes to enhance the value of the USNT
The Performance Director will report directly to the USNT Committee Chair, and work closely with the Practice Coordinator and USODA Executive Director. The position is for 1 year, from May 1st to April 30th, and a may be extended by one additional year annually by mutual agreement of the Performance Director and the USNT Committee.
Candidates who would like to be considered for the USNT Performance Director role should submit a resume as well as your thoughts and goals for the Team, including your ideas for uniting and training sailors who represent many different clubs and private teams (not to exceed 500 words).
