2020 Optimist Gulf Coast Championship / TYRW **CANCELED**

UPDATE 6/26/2020:  Due to the recent spike in COVID 19 cases in the Houston area, this event has been cancelled for 2020.

Houston Yacht Club and Lakewood Yacht Club have graciously offered to run a combined Gulf Coast/TYRW Event, July 10-12, during Texas Youth Race Week. Optimists will be staged out of Houston Yacht Club for the duration of the event.  Due to the constantly evolving situation with COVID-19, please check back frequently for updates.

This event will NOT be a qualifier for Team Trials in either 2020 or 2021.   USODA remains committed to helping our hosts safely run events that facilitate getting our young sailors back on the water.

Sailors previously registered who no longer plan to attend can request a refund of their entry fee by emailing usoda@usoda.org.

Sailors previously registered who plan to attend the rescheduled/reformatted event will have the difference in entry fees refunded, including any late fees imposed.

Sailors not previously registered but who are interested in attending can register using the registration link.  You will not be asked to pay an entry fee at this time, but instead will be sent an invoice for the the entry fee shortly before the event starts.  Registering in this manner will give our Host a better idea of potential numbers, without a financial commitment by our families while so much uncertainty remains.
